Jillian Treidler is a singer-songwriter from Edmonton, Alberta. Although she predominantly focuses on pop and R&B music, jazz influence sometimes slips through from her Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music from MacEwan University. Jillian has been writing catchy and groovy bops, and intimate ballads. Her influences are artists such as Lianne La Havas, Aurora, Finneas, Ariana Grande, and Moses Sumney.
Late March 2020, she has released her debut EP "Wordsearch", which you can stream now on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, and Google Play. It has punchy songs, like "Burnout", and sweet interludes, like "Take Care."
"autumn", released late 2020, is a ballad is about holding on to something when you should be letting go. Treidler took influence from Corinne Bailey Rae and FINNEAS for this song. Available on most platforms. Add it to your late-night sad playlists.
"be gentle" is Treidler's newest creation. It features chill synths, deep bass, and a verse from Calgary-raised Gr8Skawt (currently based in Toronto). This song was written as a reminder to be kind and gentle with yourself after facing loss or healing from tragedy: a perfect way to start healing through 2021. OUT NOW!
